Niger: Magama Foundation

Training youth in manual trades
AREVA supports the Magama Foundation in Niger, which trains disadvantaged young people in manual trades in the Niamey region.
Training for entry into the workforce
Convinced that education is a crucial factor in human development and that training is essential for entering the work world, AREVA is working alongside the Magama Foundation in Niger.
This organization has made job placement for young people from modest homes one of its top priorities. It provides them with practical training in manual trades.
Equipment for the training center
To carry out its mission, the Magama Foundation has opened a training center known as the “Niamey School of Hope Project”, where it welcomes, enrolls, trains and supports young people from Niamey and other Niger cities until they find employment.
AREVA’s support included purchasing equipment and materials for the workshop.
